The WSCAG is a committee of residents concerned with the Wauconda Sand & Gravel Superfund site. The purpose of the WSCAG is to provide a forum for community members to present and discuss issues related to the superfund decision-making process.
We encourage all Wauconda area residents to attend our monthly meetings. Meetings are held at the Wauconda Township Building (on Bonner Road just east of Route 12) at 7:00pm on the third Tuesday of every month.
| The Consent Decree is a contract between the USEPA and the Potentially Responsible Parties (PRP's). This contract will determine what the PRP's must do regarding the drinking water contamination problem in our community. | | The WSCAG leadership has reviewed the Consent Decree with the help of legal and environmental experts. We have compiled a list of concerns which we have sent to the U.S. Department of Justice.
